Cutting Height:

The cutting height is adjustable, ranging from 1 inch up to 2.75 inch tall grass. There are 8 different height settings, with independent control on each wheel. It can be set for precise control over the height of your lawn.

Reel Mower Blades:

The blades of the Mascot Lawn Mower are cast from austempered ductile iron (ADI), a stronger, harder form of iron. ADI is more than 60% harder than cast iron, and offers better performance for less weight than steel.

Reel Mower Features:

The Mascot Reelmower is painted with a powder coating to resist chips, scratches, and weathering. It has a T-bar shaped handle with plastic grips and tall, 10 inch diameter wheels with hubcaps.

The heavy weight design of this reel mower helps plow right through thicker grasses that typically cause problems with lighter mowers on the market. The Mascot makes short work of Zoysia, Bermuda and St Augustine grass. The mower is heavy to pick up off the ground, but not difficult to push through the grass while you are mowing with it.

This reel mower is made in China, but there’s more to this story! An Amish business in Pennsylvania imports these reel mowers into the United States, where American workers then inspect each mower individually. They sharpen, lubricate, and adjust them. Only then are they approved for sale to you.
