This kit includes everything you need to grow Lavender, Thyme and Oregano in your own home. It has a 13 inch galvanized steel tray that's just the right size for a windowsill or bookshelf. Seeds and potting soil are also included. Just add water and sunshine!

Lavender -

This herb contains a sweet essential oil that repels moths and it's widely used in potpourris. It also has medicinal properties as an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory. It is widely used in aromatherapy as a mood booster. Lavender can also be eaten - it's an herb that's widely used in French cooking and lavender flowers can even be candied for us as cake decoration. Lavender is also used to flavor sugar and the flowers can be blended with black tea to make lavender tea.

Thyme -

Thyme is a delicious herb that's used in kitchens around the world. It's flavor is well suited to meats, soups, and stews. Thyme complements lamb, tomatoes, and eggs especially well. Thyme, while flavorful, does not overpower and blends well with other herbs and spices.

Oregano -

Oregano is another tasty herb with a pleasant smell. It's often blended with tomato sauce, sprinkled on pizza, used as a batter for fried vegetables, and grilled along with meat. Oregano also contains plentiful antioxidants and has antimicrobial properties that are useful in food preservation.
