Get a rainbarrel that's
just like an old fashioned rain barrels! This
54 gallon white oak barrel is recycled from whiskey barrels, wine casks and beer barrels - just like the first rain barrels that were used by settlers in the Wild West. With the
included brass spigot, it looks even better.
The wooden whisky barrel is 26 inches in diameter and 35 inches tall. It's big, sturdy, and very difficult to tip over. When its full of water, the center of gravity moves up a little bit, but it would take a circus strongman to shift the barrel.
This rain barrel is
completely sealed, so there is no way for mosquitoes to get inside.
The wine barrel comes with brass spigots. There's also an
included diverter kit (ships separately) that attaches to a down spout, as well as
link fitting to connect multiple barrels together (a.k.a. daisy chaining).
These pre-used whisky, wine and beer barrels are tested, rinsed (sorry, no wine for you!) and converted to rain barrels, ensuring you get an
authentic and functional wood rain barrel.
It is also
available in a refinished option, which has Black Oxide painted metal rings and has stained and sealed finished wood parts.
