20 Percent Vinegar Weedkiller

This 1 gallon bottle contains a 20 percent vinegar solution (vinegar is also known as acetic acid).

Vinegar is well regarded as an organic weed killer. It works as a defoliant, and not as a poison. You spray it onto the leaves of the weeds that you want to kill.

You pour the vinegar into a spray bottle to apply it and spray it directly onto the plant. If you don't have an empty, cleaned out plastic spray bottle at home, you can get one from most grocery stores or hardware stores.

Many people will use 5 or 10 percent vinegar as an organic weed killer when they don't need something as strong as 20 percent. If that is the case for you, you simply dilute it with 50 percent water and you'll have 10 percent vinegar, so you can make it go twice as far!

One more important thing - do this on a SUNNY HOT day for best effects. If you try it during cool or wet weather, your results will be poor. It needs a few days of hot weather to do the best job.
