The Cobra Head weeder and cultivator is the closest thing to a universal weeding tool. Its blade is a steel fingernail that becomes an extension of your hand.

The Cobra Head weeding tool weeds, cultivates, scalps, edges, digs, furrows, plants, transplants, de-thatches, and harvests with ease.

I had seen this tool for years and never understood what was so great about it until someone gave me one. Now I love it. Digs up weeds -- and ALL their roots -- really easily, useful for making rows when planting, and amazingly helpful in dislodging those nasty New England rocks -- the "underground stone walls" -- that you can’t find the edges of with a shovel.

Now my husband and I both have one, and I’ve given them as gifts to a ton of gardening friends.

I love this tool! I just got it and it has been up to every challenge, whether weeding, cultivating, or tilling. Plus, it cleans very easily with just soap and water! I’ve even gotten a compliment on the "handiness" of the tool.
