Once connected to your hose and the meter is turned on, it will begin measuring water automatically once water flow begins. The meter shows usage in gallons or liters as long as the water flow is not stopped. After the water is shut off the meter will show the total usage for 10 seconds then shut off. It will not keep a log of past water usage.

Water conservation is becoming more and more important these days, and it doesn't have to just involve using rain barrels. With this Garden Hose Water Usage Meter, you can actually monitor the amount of water you pump through your garden hose.

It connects between the water hose and a spray nozzle, or if you don't use a spray nozzle, you can attache it between the outdoor faucet and the water hose. When you turn on the water, you will get a clear, digital reading of the amount of water you're using.

You can measure the water from 0.00 up to 999.99 in either gallons or liters.

With a reset button, you can clear the total and monitor your water usage each time you turn on the water. A twist-lock battery cover, keeps the (included) battery inside protected from the water.

Monitoring (and possibly limiting) the amount of water you use will help you save not only water, but it will also help you save money, too.
