Strawberry Topsy Turvy Planter

It's easy to grow strawberries anywhere - even in an apartment or condo without a yard. The Topsy Turvy Strawberry Planter is great for growing rich berries if you don't have much space. It turns unused sections of your patio or balcony into a strawberry factory.

The Strawberry Planter works upside down so that the plant doesn't have to fight against gravity. Growing strawberries upside down promotes rapid growth and offers natural protection against weeds. When plants spend less energy fighting gravity, they turn their attention to producing lots of strawberries and that results in bigger strawberries too. Since weeds will try to grow upwards, they can't get established and they don't compete with the berries in this planter.

Here's how it works: the Topsy Turvy planter is a shaped like a windsock, with holes along the sides for plants to grow out of. Fill it with soil and fill the holes with seedlings. Then, hang the Topsy Turvy from a hook on the wall and water the plants by pouring water into the opening at the top. That's it.

The plants will stretch out towards the ground, with gravity pulling water and nutrients from the bag of soil and out to their leaves. Since the stems never touch the ground, there's also less chance of ants, aphids, or other insects from attacking your plants. Any weeds that try to spring up in the Topsy Turvy will be easily visible as they try to grow the wrong direction (and the top of the bag is designed to prevent weeds from sprouting in the first place).

The bag is made from UV resistant, plasticized fabric. It is waterproof and designed to last for many years. The hanging apparatus is rustproof and also designed with durability in mind. The attachment point also has a swivel mounting, so the bag can be turned as necessary.

The Strawberry Grow Bag is compatible with organic gardening techniques. Since you control all of the inputs (soil, water, and fertilizer), it's easy to make sure that no chemical contamination occurs.

There are portholes for a total of 15 different plants (in three tiers). For the best results, we suggest planting 2 seedlings per porthole, and following companion planting guidelines. There's plenty of room inside the bag for 30 different root systems, and this way if one of your plants dies, there's no wasted space.
