Two heat treated, high carbon steel blades take a sharp edge for smooth cuts and reducing friction between the blades. One of the blades is serrated, which helps trim even the most unruly stems to keep the hedge trim even. With an adjustable blade tension bolt, it's easy to reduce the tension for weaker arms.

An oil filled bumper acts as a shock absorber between the two handles, reducing muscle fatigue on hands, arms and shoulders, allowing you to work longer.

The telescoping handles are easy to adjust by simply giving the lever a light squeeze. You can adjust the handles from 25 inches to 37 inches along 6 different notches, giving you up to an extra foot of reach.
