The most common methods are: A wooden base, a concrete base or a Juliana steel base. We recommend at original Juliana steel base. The galvanized steel base is cut exactly to size, 12 cm in height. The base is simple to assemble with stakes to secure each corner. The steel base provides 4.7 inchs of extra height to the greenhouse which is of benefit to plants and growers. NB! Our aluminium bases, which are available for the painted greenhouse models, are 3.1 inchs high. Advantages and disadvantages: Wooden base + Simple assembly - It will not last as long as the greenhouse Concrete base + Strong, stable solution - Expensive, time-consuming and a difficult solution We recommend that you use Leca-stones for insulation, as concrete blocks will create a thermal bridge in the bottom of the greenhouse. Juliana steel base + Quick assembly, fitted exactly to the greenhouse size + A good anchorage in the ground + Has the same durability as the greenhouse + Reasonable price NB! Many insurance companies only cover storm damages if the greenhouse is assembled correctly and anchored thoroughly into the ground. Customers Also Purchased:
