The Stackable Worm Bin holds compost in trays and provides a safe home for earthworms. It is available in a variety of colors and can hold 3, 4, or 5 trays depending on how much compost your household produces. This all-purpose vermicomposter will turn kitchen scraps into natural fertilizer while also producing fish bait or bird food.

See our complete selection of Worm Composting (Vermicomposting) Products.

The Stackable Vermicomposter comes with 3 trays, a lid, a base, and a spigot for draining compost tea. If you have a large household or cook at home often, you may want to add a 4th or 5th tray to your kit. Extra trays increase the total capacity of the composter and encourage faster composting by holding a larger population of worms.

Each tray is 16" x 16" x 5". When stacked, they nestle inside each other with a 1.5 inch clearance, so each additional tray adds 3/4 of a cubic foot of storage. The 3 tray worm bin is 20 inches tall, 16 inches across, and 16 inches wide. The spigot sticks out 2.25 inches on one side.

The Vermibin comes with a bag of coir lining that the worms will consume over time. Coir (made from coconut fiber) is one of the best materials to use as a bedding for worms. You can also use shredded newspaper, hay, or other high carbon materials to line the worm bin.

Choose your favorite color: the Stackable Wormbin comes in black, terra cotta, and green. The 100% recycled black bin is easy to conceal in a shadow or against a dark wall. Terra cotta blends into the color of red clay bricks. And the green worm bin is barely noticeable on grass or placed next to a shrub.
