Small Pond Kit

The small pond kit has everything you could possibly need or want when building a pond or water garden in your backyard, front yard, or garden. A water garden as such can be an excellent addition to your landscape. Especially if you are re-landscaping the area, this is a phenomenal choice.

These kits ship in two boxes, and have literally everything you could ever need to get your outdoor pond or water garden started. They come with:

45 mil Rubber Liner

Pond Liner Underlayment

Pond Skimmer

AquaFalls Filter

High Efficiency Pump

Check Valve Assembly

PVC Flex Pipe

Bacteria

Water Installation Kit (includes PVC glue, primer, silicone, liner patch, can black foam)

Low Voltage Light Kit (includes two lights and transformer - the transformer can run up to five 20-watt lights)

The kits come in a variety of different sizes, as well as configurations. The small pond kit is available in the following sizes: 6' x 6' (approx. 400 gallons), 6' x 11' (approx. (750 gallons), 8' x 11' (approx. 1,000 gallons), 11' x 11' (approx. 1,400 gallons), and 11' x 16' (approx. 2,000 gallons).

The kit gives you every necessary piece to start your own backyard or garden oasis. When building a water garden as such - the nice thing is that you can pick what landscaping you want to go where, and it really leaves a lot of creative input to the gardener. Not to mention, it's a really relaxing aspect to the lawn to have at night...just sitting back and listening to the pond water is an amazing way to leave the job behind (if even momentarily) and the relaxation at home - where it should be.

In addition, the 11' x 11' and the 11' x 16' kits also include the PS2 skimmer, which also has an optional UV upgrade (perfect from those harmful rays of the sun).

The only thing not included with the kit is the hole in the ground - you have to dig that yourself. A typical depth for a pond or water garden ranges from 18-30 inches. This can result in a day or two of additional work - depending on your method of digging. Please remember that different cities have different ordinances and city codes, so when you are ready to start digging, please check with your city first. You want to make sure that in addition to code compliance, you are aware of any ground wire that may run underneath your property.
