Shipping and returns
Clean Air Gardening offers free ground shipping in the contiguous 48 United States, for orders over $50. Expedited shipping (FedEx Two-Day, FedEx One-Day, USPS Priority Mail), is not free. Want to know how much shipping will cost for orders under $50, or for faster shipping methods? Simply add the item or items to your shopping cart and use the Shipping Calculator, near the Buy button on each product page. Enter your zip code, and it will tell your total with shipping. You can also calculate shipping during checkout. A very small number of oversized items in the store will have a shipping surcharge, but those products will be marked so that you can identify the extra charge. Shipping for international orders, and orders to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico will be calculated and based on the actual rates. We may have to contact you after an order is placed and revise the amount that the shipping calculator comes up with. You will have the opportunity to cancel before we process the order. Some items cannot be shipped to these locations at all because of prohibitive costs. It’s an unfortunate reality that shipping to these locations is extremely expensive, and there’s no way of getting around it. Most items are shipped either the same day or within 2 to 3 business days and arrive within a week to a week and a half, and sometimes much faster. Products on the web site are generally available, unless noted otherwise. If an item is ever out of stock, you will be notified and have the opportunity to cancel your order. Packages delivered outside the USA may incur customs or import taxes. The person who receives the order is responsible for paying all costs associated with moving their package through their customs or import tax system. We unfortunately have no way of knowing how much other countries charge as a duty for particular products. We cannot make refunds to customers who do not receive shipments because they have declined to pay these costs. Why order online? Online orders are actually processed slightly faster than phone orders. We are notified by email immediately when you order online, and when we retreive the order, it is complete with the address and contact information that you typed in yourself! Of course, telephone orders are also welcomed. Return Policy Clean Air Gardening offers a 60 day money back guarantee on all its products. If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, you may send it back for a refund. However, you must call or email to arrange a return confirmation before you ship the return. This allows us to track your return and make sure you are shipping to the correct address. The easiest way to arrange a return is by email. Items must be returned in the original packaging in good condition with all parts to receive a refund. Refunds can only be given for plants, fertilizers, bug killers, weed killers, and similar products that are still unopened and unused. Customers are responsible for shipping charges to return products. A refund check will be sent within two weeks of receipt of the returned item, and will be in the amount of the retail price of the product. Customers are responsible for any shipping charges to return products, and shipping charges related to the purchase cannot be refunded. Products at Clean Air Gardening also include a manufacturer's warranty. After 60 days, any defects or problems should be directed to the manufacturer. If you need help finding out how to contact a manufacturer, we would be happy to help. If you choose to have an item engraved, it cannot be returned. There is a 50% restocking fee for all custom made items (as noted on the product page) including address plaques, thermometers, clocks and weathervanes. Return Policy for Chicken Coops: Due to the unique construction, large size and heavy weight of our chicken coops, we cannot accept returns unless there is damage during shipping. If there is shipping damage and it is obvious when your coop arrives, please point this out to the driver and refuse the shipment. Please contact us immediately to arrange for another chicken coop to be shipped. We also suggest that you take a few pictures of the damaged chicken coop, as that will make it easier and quicker for a replacement coop to be delivered to you. No refunds are issued after successful delivery of the chicken coop is made.
