Pest Control Concentrate

This organic pest control concentrate works with the RID Pest Control System to eliminate harmful insects from your yard. This bottle plugs into your irrigation system and the contents are mixed with water before being distributed by your lawn sprinklers.

Since this pest control system works through your sprinklers, it evenly treats your whole yard with minimal effort. You don't have to tote around a heavy jug or strain to reach every spot. Liquid treatments are also more readily absorbed by plants.

This pest control concentrate is an all natural Colloidal solution. Its ingredients include various plant extracts, including essential oils and spice extracts. Some of these include Thyme, Sage, and Oil of Cedar. There are no Hazardous Chemical additives.

Colloidal Pest Control works well against mosquitoes, aphids, flies, ticks, and arthropods. It controls activity against larval, pupae, and adult stages of specific insect species while posing no threat to humans or animals.

This product works on contact. It breaks down the chitin exoskeleton of many harmful insects. It kills through gradual suffocation, disrupting the spiracles and tracheal system of adult mosquitoes, beetles, mites, ticks, and wood borers.

How do colloidal liquids stop pests?

The answer to that is rather technical. Essentially, they contain extremely small particles that smother certain insects.

Here's the more technical explanation: Colloidal liquids include nano-sized particles called “colloidal micelles” that are invisible to the naked eye. One nanometer is 1/80,000 the width of a human hair! Micelles are sub-microscopic electrically charged particles that, when activated in water, repel each other in a never-ending series of random movements. Micelles in liquid solution measure only 2 to 4 nanometers in size, which is far, far smaller than the particles created from typical pest control solutions. Their small size delivers precision results.

The major benefit of this organic insect control method is that it can be used to targeted specific species of insect with various dilution ratios. In other words, this targets harmful insects without causing harm to beneficial insects.

Ingredients include plant extracts, lemongrass oil, garlic oil, cedar oil, thyme oil, clove oil, peppermint oil, coconut oil,, glacial acetic acid, sodium chloride, citric acid, palm oil, and rosemary oil.

Unlike with other insecticides, bugs are unable to develop an immunity to this type of pest control. This product does not act on their nervous system, but rather on their respiratory apparatus. Due to this earth friendly mechanism, there are no effects on birds, pets, people, or other parts of the ecosystem.
