Want to cut your landscaping costs? This runoff diverter kit is an easy way to funnel water into a rainbarrel and protect the ground under your downspout from erosion. The Rain Reserve Diverter Kit is easy to install, and comes with many of the plugs and seals that you need for a professional looking installation.

The Rain Reserve water redirector has a unique inspection hatch. This hatch slides up and provides access to the places that can clog if debris gets inside. If a tree overhangs your roof, the inspection hatch can come in handy when leaves fall off into your gutters.

Each kit includes the following:

1 RainReserve Diverter

1 Tubing Adapter

1 Spigot Adapter

2 Tank Seals

1 High Flow Spigot with a threaded connection

5 feet of Tubing

1 Barrel Warning Sticker

1 3/16 inch Hole Saw with Pilot Drillbit

2 RainReserve Plugs

PTFE Sealing Tape

6 Self Tapping Downspout Screws

Instruction manual

The Warning Sticker is intended for your rain barrel, and it reads "Recycled Rain Water - DO NOT DRINK". This kit is made almost exclusively in the United States. Only the PTFE sealing tape is imported - everything is high grade and the majority is American made.

Installation
For installation, you will need the following:

1 or more closed barrels (water tanks).

Note: the rain barrel is not included

A pair of pliers

A power drill

A metal cutting hack saw

1/4 inch Socket Nut Driver

These items may also come in handy during installation:

3 Cinder Blocks (for elevating the barrel)

A carpenter's level

Almost all of the components of the Rain Reserve are recyclable. The diverter itself is made from hybrid bio-resin, and the label sticker is made from corn plastic. The tubing, seals, and adapters are made from a variety of Post Industrial and Post Consumer recycled plastics. The manual includes details about how to recycle each component, including the manufacturer's take back program.

Please note:

This diverter fits a standard size downspout. The standard size is 2" x 3", but please be aware that downspouts do come in other sizes. A 3x4 adapter is available, but does not come with this order unless you add it. Please measure your downspout before placing your order.
