If you've ever tried growing potatoes, you know that they grow well in raised bed gardens. However, growing potatoes in a grow bag also works exceptionally well, and will result in a plentiful crop of potatoes when it's time to harvest. This bag is a 15 gallon grow bag (13 inches high with 18 inch diameter).

Enjoy free shipping for this product in the contiguous 48 United States.

This particular potato grow bag is extra durable, will stretch out to accommodate root growth, and will promote better soil aeration than a traditional clay pot or raised bed. These potato grow bags will help you grow a stellar crop of potatoes.

See our complete selection of Garden Planters.

The lightweight nature of this bag is an added bonus. It is made from a fabric that promotes proper aeration of your roots. Since it is a porous material, it will also help prevent over watering, as it allows any extra moisture to just drain away.

Using potato growing bags is also very easy. Simply decide the area in which you'd like to plant your potatoes and wait until after the last frost. Next, add soil, and plant your seeds in the grow bag. Make sure to water at regular intervals, so that your soil stays moist and doesn't dry out. Then watch over the potatoes until they are ready to harvest -- it's that easy!

This grow bag has a diameter of 18 inches and the height is 13 inches, and will be able to hold plenty of soil (15 gallons to be exact) to help your potatoes grow!

Itís not the prettiest pot I have but then I remind myself, this is not your normal vegetable pot. I use a mixture of 3 different composts, vermiculite, and peat moss, add my seeds and let her go. No weeds, it drains itself, and the roots love all the oxygen they get due to the breathable cloth. I use it for heartier vegetables like squash or tomatoís, but I think my best results have been from my herbs I planted last year.
