All of our eucalyptus outdoor furniture is stained for exterior use, and may vary slightly, due to the grain. This bench is made with Eucalyptus, which is especially good for outdoor use. Eucalyptus is a tropical hardwood, which means that it has evolved to resist insects and other wood boring animals. It also ages nicely, taking on a Teak like appearance. Excessive logging in India, Burma, and Thailand has reduced the number of wild Teak trees, and this is a great alternative that helps promote responsible forestry.
