Some of the competing brands are made with urea or bio-solids; those clinical sounding ingredients are also known as urine and sewer sludge. Instead, Lady Bug is made with turkey byproducts that are free of human pathogens. Lady Bug All Purpose 8-2-4 is a very cost effective way to add nutrients to your lawn. It should be applied twice each year - once in mid-spring and then again in the fall. There's no need to water this fertilizer in, so it can be applied even during drought conditions.

Lady Bug All Purpose 8:2:4 Organic Fertilizer is great for potted plants, vegetable gardens, herb planters, raised bed planters, and flower gardens. It blends in clay or sandy soils without any ill effects, and is a great soil amendment around trees and shrubs. When aerating your yard, mix in a little lady bug fertilizer for added structure and moisture retention.

LadyBug All Purpose Fertilizer is easy to use with all spreader models. The molasses coating prevents the fertilizer from turning to dust during storage and helps it stick together in easily spread clumps. The molasses also nurtures microbial activity. Microbes help release the nutrients and they also colonize your soil. These helpful aerobic bacteria compete with harmful anaerobic germs, so they prevent pathogens from getting established. In the process, aerobic microbes accelerate the rate of nutrient cycling in the soil which allows plants to get more benefits per pound of fertilizer.
