White-breasted nuthatches and house finches have the same requirements for their nesting boxes. The Nuthatch and House Finch Nesting Box birdhouse is handcrafted to the precise specifications for these birds.

The nesting floor is 4 inches x 4 inches and has an entrance hole that is 1 3/8 inches in diameter and is placed 6 inches above the floor. A predator guard protects the entrance hole.

The 10 1/2 inch high box has a sloped, ventilated roof. Grooves cut into the inside of the front panel help young birds exit the box. The front panel swings open, making it easy to clean the birdhouse.

The dimensions of the Nuthatch/House Finch Nesting Box are 12 inches by 8 inches by 7 inches on the outside. Made from rot-resistant cedar, this nest box will survive outdoors for many years. The rough side of the cedar faces out, giving the box a natural, rustic look.
