Mongolian Basalt Garden Fountain

The Mongolian Basalt Garden Fountain is made from natural rock and each piece is unique. This rock pillar has a raw, wild appearance that stems from the mountains between China and Russia where it is mined. It has an impressive visual effect and will add gravitas to any yard.

The Mongolian Basalt Pillar is designed for dual function - it works as a fountain or as a pillar ornament. The pillar is available in two heights of 30 or 39 inches tall and approximately 12 inches in diameter.

There's a channel drilled through the heart of stone; it does not compromise the strength of the rock. With the optional 750 gallon per hour pump and base, this fountain will circulate water up the center of the stone and down the sides. Without the accessories, the pillar still works as a lawn ornament, flower holder, giant candelabra, oversize ring toss target, bollard, or whatever else you want it to be.

The stone pillar is designed for a lifetime of outdoor use. Basalt is one of the hardest stones available, and Mongolian Basalt is a beautiful example of this lava rock. Due to conditions at the plate boundaries where this basalt formed, the crystalline structure is dense and very resistant to the elements.
