You can get really creative with the landscaping when installing one of the ponds. That's the great thing about a water garden - you can put it where you deem fit, and really build the feel of the area around it, or incorporate it into an already existing landscape.

Please remember that different cities have different ordinances, so check with your city hall before digging a hole in your yard. You want to make sure that there are no power lines, cable lines, or anything of the sort near, and that yes, you can in fact dig a hole to create this wonderful pond.

As you may have guessed from the above statement, everything is included, but you still have to dig your own hole. That's okay, it really doesn't take too much time - the average pond features a depth of 18-30 inches. If you are worried about digging time, fear not - you can often rent machines to dig the hole in your yard (this way you aren't digging up the entire backyard like Art and Ray in The 'Burbs).
