Dog Urine Grass Protector Concentrated

This grass protector will make a great companion to one of our many pooper scoopers.

No one likes having their lush, green grass tainted by yellow patches from your dog or, even worse, your neighbor's dog. Rather than replanting the damaged areas, consider using Guard Dog lawn protectant. This lawn treatment helps cure damaged areas and protect against 'burn' spots in the future.

Dog urine contains ammonia and sometimes high levels of salt. Both of these chemicals are harmful to grass because they damage roots and cause yellow spots. To prevent this damage, it's necessary to neutralize the ammonia and salt found in pet urine. This grass protector consumes the ammonia, binds the salts, and also increases the soil's permeability. Treating damaged areas allos the grass to recover quickly.

Each order of Guard Dog lawn protector includes one 32 oz. bottle that easily attaches to a garden hose. Simply screw your garden hose to the nozzle of the bottle and turn on the water tap. As water flows through the hose, it will mix with the concentrate in the right proportions. Water the yard like normal, and Dog Guard will be evenly applied across your lawn.

Each 32 oz. bottle covers approximately 5,000 sq. ft. We also offer a 1 gallon jug of Concentrated Dog Guard that can be used as a refill for this bottle or used to treat even larger areas.

If your lawn is badly damaged, you should use Guard Dog and then reseed the ground. Guard Dog can be applied immediately before seeding without any harmful effects on tender young plants. Regrowth will usually take between 2 and 3 weeks. For spots larger than eight inches in diameter, the fill-in time may take longer.

This grass protector can be used in any season. For the best results, it should be applied after grass starts to turn green in the early spring and discontinued when fall arrives.
