Frequently Asked Questions.

Is it minus zero at the bottom of the dial, what about the degrees in between?

The -0 next to the F is the traditional symbol for the Fahrenheit Scale. When showing the symbol the degree goes before the letter. When showing temperature, the degree appears after the number. The minus sign does not signify a negative. Freezing is oriented around 11:30 on the face and is marked with 32 degrees

Are there other ways to hang this?

The thermometer comes with a hard wire for hanging, but you can also use the spaces in the corner with either nails or screws.

Tell me about Sand Casting.

Sand casting is an ancient, laborious way to cast metal that creates a look and feel all its own. Each piece gets its own mold created in oily sand. After the aluminum is poured the mold is destroyed and goes back to sand.
