How does it work? It's a fairly simple process for this indoor herb garden to get growing without the hassle of soil, bugs and worms. To get started, you simply put your choice of seeds into the pre-slotted grow sponge. Once you add water and the nutrients, the microjets deliver the water and nutrients directly to the sponge allowing the seeds to grow.

As the roots start to grow downward into the main chamber, they are bathed in the oxygen-rich nutrient in a rainforest-like environment. When the water drips to the bottom of this chamber, it is recycled through the process again by the pump that takes the water directly to the sponge. Ah, the circle of life.
