Choose a stylish rain barrel designed to look like an old fashioned oak barrel, and add a bit of class to your lawn while you capture rain water. It looks no nice, there's no wonder that it's one of our best selling rain barrels.

Check out our entire selection of rain barrels in our extensive rain barrel section.

This compact rain barrel sits snugly against the side of buildings, which allows it to catch more water for its footprint. The flat backed design also prevents grass from growing in inaccessible spots around the barrel, which makes trimming easier.

This water collection barrel is made to look just like an oak cask, but it has several advantages over wooden rain barrels. This plastic rain barrel blocks UV light, which prevents most mold and algae from growing. Plastic is also non-reactive, which means it wont break down or rot, even with extended submersion in water. The "hoops" on this barrel are purely cosmetic - they're made of plastic too, so you don't have to worry about rust stains over time.

Make your footprint even smaller by using a Solar Powered Rain Barrel Pump with this rain barrel.

I love the look, size and shape of this rain barrel. However, there are a few design flaws they should address. The "overflow" spout is a hole that come out from the top/front of the barrel. The hole is not threaded, nor is it a standard size (3/4" or 1/2") so that you can add a plumbing fitting and attach an overflow hoze. Basically, the overflow water will just fall right in front of the barrel, which may or may not be ideal (most likely not.) The website also says the barrel can be "connected" to other barrel. There are two knobs on the left and right sides that are closed. I guess you could use a hacksaw and saw them open, but they’re also likely not a standard size, so I’m not sure how they expect you to "connect" them. This rain barrel WILL fill up (mine was full after the first heavy rain) so these design flaws in overflow are an annoyance.
