The Stringless Electric Trimmer and Edger is a green alternative to string trimmers and edgers. It has long lasting blades instead of finicky string, so there's less need for maintenance, and no need to bang the trimmer on the ground! This light weight, hassle free trimmer can clear a swathe of grass quickly and cleanly.

The 4.5 amp electric motor is a powerful way to get your yard work done effectively and efficiently. Working with the motor, the edger features a safety switch to prevent accidental starting, an instant start feature (just press a button after disengaging the safety switch), and a cord hook (to prevent tripping over the cord and to securely fasten the extension cord to the edger.

The blade is 12 inches long, which gives the trimmer a foot long cutting swathe. The non-metallic blade is designed to prevent damage to curbs, fence boards, walls, and other hard objects. It cuts right through grass and light brush, but will wear out if used on rocks, trees, or other firm obstacles. There's also a protective cover known as a flower guard, which will protect from blade contact while using this electric trimmer.

The hand grip at the top of the trimmer is big enough for two hands, but only requires one to operate. The handle incorporates a safety button, trigger switch, and a cord hook to keep the power cord out of the way. The power cord is recessed inside the handle, which protects it from debris and accidental disconnection. There's also a support bar for your other hand that offers increased control and eliminates the need to bend over.

The handle can be adjusted quite a bit. It telescopes out for height adjustments from 39 inches to 49 inches and the handle rotates 180 degrees. This twist and groom feature easily converts from edging to weeding - thus making this trimmer two tools in one!
