This two chamber compost bin is an improvement to the original and still wildly successful single chamber original ComposTumbler.

To make the composter even better, the manufacturer divided the compost drum into two separate sections. This allows you to start a batch of compost in one chamber while a batch is finishing up in the other. You'll have a constant source of finished compost.

This bin holds 11 cubic feet of material per chamber. That's 9 bushels, or 84 gallons, per side. All metal parts, including the stand, are made from galvanized steel.

The total capacity is 22 cubic feet, which translates to 18 bushels or 168 gallons. This is the equivalent to almost three 30 gallon trash bags of material per chamber, or six bags in total.

The ComposTumbler Two Chamber compost bin sits 27 inches off the ground, to keep animal pests away. This tall positioning of the ComposTumbler 2 Chamber composter also eliminates the bending over and potential back pain associated with composting in a pile on the ground.

Even better, when you're ready to unload your composter, you can bring a wheel barrow or garden cart right under your bin and empty it with ease.

To operate this compost tumbler, load your organic materials into the bin and spin it with the easy to turn gear driven handle. You'll have rich, dark finished compost for your yard or garden in no time.

Since you have two different chambers, you can fill up one chamber, and then start filling the second chamber while the materials in the first chamber are finishing up. That means you'll have a continuous source of finished compost.

The manufacturer claims this compost bin creates compost in as few as 10 to 14 days. But the average home composter will probably not see finished compost this fast without a lot of practice using the tumbler.

In general, composting can take anywhere from a few weeks to a period of months, depending on the mix of materials added to the bin.

The Compost Tumbler 2 Chamber drum is made from sturdy galvanized steel that will last for many years outside in the elements. The legs are made of tubular steel, for strength and support. All plastic parts are made of thick, high-density polyethylene.
