The on ground Gedye compost bin is strong, lightweight and easily portable. Compost can be made when and where you want it.

The inverted bucket shape of the bin has fluted sides for maximum distribution of the sun's rays. They have been specially designed to mould a self supporting "compost cake." Once your kitchen and yard waste has been converted into compost, just lift the bin off and start another batch.

The lid clips in place and keeps the compost bin covered. Odorless and hygienic, it can be left close to the kitchen for convenient disposal of your organic waste.

During the conversion of organic waste to humus (finished compost), concentrated bacteria are produced. The bin generates heat up to 150 degrees F to break down the waste material as it is added.
