Using this All Natural Compost Accelerator and Deodorizer is a great way to give your compost the boost it needs to get started or to help pick up the process if your mix is a bit off and the process has slowed down some. Composting isn't typically a smelly process, but should your compost begin to emit any funny odors, this will help eliminate the smells and neutralize them.

It is powered by zeolite, which is a natural, volcanic material. This porous material helps with the odors, but it also helps keep your compost and soil aerated, improving drainage and nutrient retention for plants.

The accelerator has a desiccating effect, which is particularly helpful if you should have too much nitrogen-rich content (kitchen scraps, "greens," etc.). Essentially, it helps to dry out the contents a bit to prevent flies and maggots. It also absorbs ammonia, methane and hydrogen sulfide gases associated with the composting process.

Each 10 pound jug of this compost accelerator can last up to 20 weeks if used regularly. Individual time results may vary depending on frequency of use. It is completely non-toxic and safe to use around kids and pets. It will not harm skin, but we recommend only using it for its intended purpose.

This product doesn't have to be just for traditional composting. It can be used in pet litter boxes, composting toilets and outhouses to dry out and neutralize odors.
