Clauss 18479 Titanium Garden Bypass Pruner
Why Buy From Us?
The Clauss 18479 Titanium Bypass Garden Pruner is one of our many pruning products offered.
The Clauss Pruners are a handy gardening tool to have around the yard, and will help get the bushes under control. These Clauss Pruners have very strong blades.
The blades are made from Clauss’s patented titanium bonded cutlery grade steel. This steel is actually a combination of chromium nitride and titanium, which creates a permanent bond. The benefits of this steel are that it adds more corrosion resistance and adhesive resistance without substituting strength. The blades of this pruner will last up to five times longer than other stainless steel pruner blades.
The blades on the Clauss Pruners are actually non-stick blades, which will prevent annoying sappy vegetation from sticking to the blades. They have been tested to withstand Velcro, glue, and other sticky substances if you need more proof. Like all Clauss blades, there is a micro ban coating, which prevents any stain causing bacteria that will start to grow on the blades and cause nasty odors.
The body of these pruners is made from premium aluminum, and it features 5 inch handles for leverage and stability. There is an integrated wire cutter included with this pruner tool along with comfortable rubber grips.
Clauss 18479 Titanium Garden Pruner Features:
- Non-Stick Blades, for easier cutting
- Titanium/Chromium Nitride Blade, for superior cutting and corrosion resistance
- 3/4” Maximum Cut Gauge
- Comfortable Ergonomic Grip
- Lifetime Manufacturer Warranty on Product Defects
Best Pruners ever

After owning many other pruners, that always ended up not really working for long. So, took a chance and bought this pair several years ago though they seemed expensive at the time. It was the best investment I could have made - these will last a lifetime I thought! This Clauss is seriously the best pruner I've ever had, and cuts easily and cleanly even branches up to 3/4 in thick. They fit comfortably in my small hand which many pruners don't, so it's not aching after a day of pruning. My brother recently started a tree trimming business and borrowed my pruners. Apparently they are even better than I realized as he commented several times on his amazement at how well they hold an edge and how easily and quickly they are sharpened by hand. Not surprisingly, they are now always in his toolbox, and I guess my lifetime pruners need to be replaced. I just ordered a second pair for MY garden toolbox. Bonus: they are on sale right now at Clean Air Gardening! Woo Hoo!
