    this is a nice look and very cute, but there is nothing green about wasting wood on a product the doesnt work. after researching why this didnt work, i found out that butterflies have much more simple ways of hibernating than trying to figure out how to get into this box, or figuring out that its for them. dont waste your money, dont waste the wood. this product shouldnt even be on such a "green" website. if you want them hibernating in your garden, give them a little wood pile to stay warm in, plus other critters will hibernate in it with them.
