Bring a touch of the old world to the exterior of your home or office with this door knocker with a viewer from Brass Accents. A traditional reproduction of the colonial-style door knockers that appeared on many federal and colonial-style homes in the late 1700s and early 1800s, each is handmade by pressing hot extruded rods into design dies and then tooled, chased and polished to create the detail and luster you’ll find in every piece.

These unique door knockers are available in a standard version comes in your choice of six finishes: polished brass (shown), antique brass, oil rubbed bronze, satin nickel, antique nickel/pewter or weathered black.

Each Colonial Knocker is trimmed and finished with a 3/4-inch projection and measures 3-5/8 inches center to center.

PLEASE NOTE: You have two mounting options to choose from for this door knocker. Surface mounting has screws that are seen on the outside of the door that hold the knocker to the door surface. These are visible on the exterior. Standard mounting is mounted on the interior of the door. Screws are only visible from the inside of the house. Please be sure to choose the option you'd like in the drop down menu above. There is no price difference for the options - just your personal preference.
