Perfectly suited for blue birds, this bird house is hand made to order. It is constructed according to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service specifications for blue bird houses. It is fit for blue bird royalty.

Made from cedar, it is naturally rot resistant and is a good insulator, so it will last for many years in the elements. Its sloped roof is ventilated, and it's floors have drainage holes. Both of these features help keep the air fresh inside.

One side of the birdhouse opens on a hinge, allowing you to monitor the birds inside and to clean out the house yearly.

A 1.5" diameter entrance hole sits exactly 6" above the nest floor. On the inside of the front wall, there is notching up to the hole, making it easier for younger birds to get out.

Quality construction is key in the making of this bird house. The sides, bottom and back have keyhole attached joints with waterproof, furniture-grade glue.
