Automatic Nut Picker

Anyone with a pecan (or other nut) tree in their yard knows how time consuming and hard on your body it can be to harvest all the fallen nuts. Sometimes a small rolling pecan picker upper will do the trick, but if you have multiple trees you might need a bit more ground coverage and ease in collecting all the nuts.

This push style, rolling nut picker easily rolls over the nuts as you push from behind and grabs them between the green prongs on the wheel. As the wheel turns, the nuts are dropped into the collection basket. To remove the nuts from the front basket you can either pull the rope handle and dump the nuts onto a the ground or a tarp or you can easily lift the basket over a box and simply pull the rope to dump the nuts into the box. Either option for removing the nuts from the harvester is an easy way to keep all the nuts together.

This nut harvester is ideal for nuts 3/8" to 1 1/4" in diameter or less including pecans, almonds, larger acorns, sweetgum balls, hazelnuts (filberts), chestnuts and hickory nuts. It also works best in grass that is kept 5" or shorter.

Small twigs and leaves will not clog the picker upper.

This nut picker upper measures 20" long X 41" wide X 46" tall.

With 14 inch paths, you will be able to cover more ground in less time and get the best possible results for grabbing all the nuts.
