This self-watering seed sprouter is the fastest way to grow fresh greens indoors. It automatically maintains the right moisture levels, and produces seed sprouts quickly (in 5-10 days). It is chemical free and 100 percent organic.

In the middle of the Sprout Planter is an automatic watering spigot shaped like a star. It sprays water for one minute every 15 minutes, and works just like sprinklers in the produce section of the grocery store. The Self Watering Sprout Planter includes a splash cover that helps contain the water and prevents any moisture from reaching your kitchen counter.

Water is the only thing you need to add to this bean sprout planter. There's no soil, and no mess. The bottom compartment holds the water, and a pump pushes the water up through the spray nozzle.

The unit is powered with an electric cord that plugs into a standard (110v) outlet. It uses very little power - only 15 watts. That's about as much as an energy efficient light bulb.

The Automatic Seed Sprouter is suited for a wide variety of plants. It works with buckwheat, lettuce, Chinese cabbage, purple turnip, curly kale, baby sunflower, garlic, chives, daikon radish, wheatgrass, crimson clover, golden alfalfa and other delicious kitchen herbs.

Grow one pound of fresh sprouts in a week or less. There's no need for grow lamps - the sprouts contain all of the energy they need to grow in any setting and in any season. For the best results, position the sprouter near a window where light will stimulate growth.
