Ideal for pruning stiff and unruly deadwood, this Bond anvil pruner allows even extremely weak hands to cut through up to 3/4 inch branches.

What is an anvil pruner?

Unlike a bypass pruner that uses two blades, like a pair of scissors to cut through stems and branches, an anvil pruner uses one cutting blade to come down on a small platform call the "anvil." Basically, it's a small, handheld chopping block that very effectively cuts through even very tough wood.

This ergonomic version of the anvil pruner has a coiled spring that helps increase the force of each cut. With non-slip grips, this pruner is easy on the hands allowing you to get more work done.

The alloy steel blades have a non-stick teflon coating, which helps prevent the blades from getting stuck with rust and sap. The cutting blade cuts clean and scissor-like, and a safety lock prevents the tool from opening when not in use.
